The NIWE partner TECNALIA participated in the 73rd World Foundry Congress (WFC) and presented an abstract of the project NIWE (“New induction wireless efficient manufacturing process furnaces”) in this remarkable event. There was not only an abstract in the proceedings but a specific presentation of the project and the full paper of the project could be presented.
The World Foundry Congress, organized by the World Foundry Organization (WFO) took place from 23rd of September to 27th of September 2018 at the ICE Krakow Congress Centre in Kraków, Poland. This initiative is a highly renowned and prestigious technical congress, held bi-annually. The conference covered areas like Materials, Technologies, Digitalization and Management. Over 700 representatives from 41 countries, including approx 100 young scientists deliver over 200 papers and shared their knowledge and achievements at the posters session with 150 presentations on display.
Additionally, the NIWE partner TECNALIA participated in METAL 2018, ALUMINIUM & NonFermet and Recycling Expos held from 25th to 27th of September 2018 in Kielce, Poland. TECNALIA had the opportunity to show NIWE´s developments and preliminary results in their Stand, to all delegates visiting the off-site session held at Targi Kielce’s METAL exposition. This METAL expo is one of the world’s leading in addition to being Central and Eastern Europe’s largest foundry and metal business-sectors’ events.
