Last 10th and 11th September was hosted by ABP the second general technical meeting of the NIWE project. Held in the ABP facilities in Dortmund the event allowed to the consortium to review and update the tasks of the project.
The main objective of the meeting was to better define the industrial scope of the demonstrators as well as to accurate the technical data of the technologies involved.
During the meeting an overview of the Project planning and management plan were undertaken. Four Deliverables were presented and approved. Finally, the task leaders presented the status of the Work Packages and the planned activities for the next six months. There was a productive exchange of ideas and fruitful agreements were made with regard to the organization of work within the tasks.
Moreover the meeting gave the chance to the consortium to welcome two new partners: Fonderia 2A, from Italy (http://www.fonderie2a.com/), as final aluminum user, and SEEIF Ceramics from Czech Republic (http://www.seeifceramic.cz) as refractory developer and producer.
