Between the 1st and 4th of October took place the “Industrial and Technology Summit 2013” in the Bilbao Exibition Center (BEC- Barakaldo, Bizkaia).
The NIWE partner AFV, was present at this event representing the consortium of the project.
The Industrial and Technology Summit is a comprehensive initiative designed with the aim to act as an engine of development of industrial and technological sectors. These two sectors, that contribute to make strong and potential synergies, are worldwide known to be closely related to the entrepreneurial tradition of the Basque Country. This event, it is certainly a noteworthy industrial call for its involvement in the productive tissue of the area where it occurs and its representation on a wide range of national and international activities.
In this multi-sectoral event that interrelated sectors such as outsourcing and business cooperation, machinery and equipment for casting, forging, rolling and surface treatment, automation and aerospace, all the assistants had the opportunity to exchange their expertise and establish professional relationships.
This meeting also provided a unique space to all areas of interest where the exhibitor and visitor managed different trade negotiations, as well as having the opportunity to contact a large group of strategic manufacturers.
Additionally, one of the main focal points of the commercial campaign for the event was the internationalisation, which was successfully well covered with the special presence of Germany as guest country. Furthermore, the event featured sessions from different companies, such us Tecnalia with the conference “Future’s fabric”.
