Bilbao, Spain 04/06/2014.
NIWE was one of the selected projects to be presented during the last edition of the World Foundry Congress, held in Bilbao (Spain) between 19th and 21st of May.
The NIWE partner CIRCE presented an abstract that was nominated to be exposed at the posters exhibition. In addition, CIRCE was invited to present the project during a specific session addressing “New induction wireless efficient manufacturing process furnaces”.
The abstract presented by CIRCE was focused on the development of a shielding system to minimize the electromagnetic fields exposure created by the Inductive Power Transmission systems. The final objective of the whole transmission system developed is to transfer the desired power (100kW), avoiding magnetic fields to escape outside the shielding, therefore removing any effect for humans or equipment.
Several stakeholders from the industrial sector, among which there were experts from technology centres, technology-provider companies or industries, attended the lectures, technical sessions, poster sessions and seminars that were celebrated during the Congress.
This initiative is a highly renowned and prestigious technical congress, held bi-annually for the presentation
